Google Talk

Well, it turns out that I will be posting again!

Google just came out with an IM/voip service that lets you chat like AIM and also talk to each other just like your on the phone basically. The voice quality is really good and it sounds just as good as if your talking on the phone. The instant messaging part of it is really basic for now, but Google says they will improve it gradually.

If you want to download it, go to

You need a gmail account to use it, so if you want me to invite you just let me know...

time is flying and things have been happening

Well.....a lot has happened in the last few weeks, and I'll try to stuff it all into a post here.

As a few of you know, we decided some saturday 2 weeks back or so to build a
woodshed

It was more or less successful....just talk to Gabe, he'll tell you we did it all wrong....but I think its pretty cool. Except that it might fall apart into little tiny pieces soon. Maybe. Thanks to a bunch of other people, we lifted a massive roof on top of it. (which, as we found out later, we should have built up there, lol)

Anyway, last saturday we went to a soccer tournament in Cleveland. Lots of fun.

Roadtrips are always a heck of a lot of fun, as you can tell by the pictures. Somehow, that trusty van pulled through again! One of these trips its going to break down and start bawling.

Our team didnt do that great but thanks to a few talented individuals we weren't totally and utterly humiliated like we usually are - we won one, lost three and tied one. They were all close games and we didnt get blown out at all. It was great fun though, good to see all the people there and all that stuff. I think the girls volleyball team did pretty well, going 3-5 or something. They won more games then us anyway...

And last but not least, I sold my car! Finally!

I'll be leaving for school in a week, so blogging will probably be laid off til then. For those I wont get a chance to see before then, I'll see ya later!

Farewell Party for Fathers Purdy and Pazat

Wednesday night there was a party for the 2 priests who are leaving our parish. Father Purdy, who was here for only a year, is heading off to the Philippines. Father Pazat has been here for a while, as long as ive been here - I think its been about 5 years or so. He doesnt really know where hes heading off to...

Anyway, heres some pictures of both of them with us:

Fr. Purdy decked out in his missionary cassock and with an awesome beard...

Fr. Pazat with a bunch of us...

six flags: darien lake

Last Sunday, Paul, Elissa and I roadtripped with Gabe and Liz to Darien Lake. Thanks to our GPS (thats Gabe, hes our navigator for all our roadtrips and if he wasnt around, we would still be wandering around in Michigan, or maybe China) we got there safely. It was kinda crowded, but the lines werent all that bad, and we got on all the roller coasters at least once.

^Heres a ride called the Mind Eraser

It was a heck of a lot of fun! Roller coasters are AWESOME. Its funny because before you get on the first one, youre kinda scared (especially when its about 200 feet high and looks about 500 feet high!), but after that, you want to find ones that are bigger, faster and scarier....or at least I did!

Yea, the Superman was as HUGE as it looks!

But anyway, by the end of the trip, (at about 2 in the morning) we all came to the conclusion that Liz doesnt really like any music, or Paul, but mostly that we were all really tired....

All the pictures I took are here
